That's a ski route I AFAIK so don't think it would run any later than March

Crap I want to go to Slovenia in April or May going via UK doesnt work cos flights leave early and would have to stay overnight. I need to get a cheap flight direct from Dublin to the closest place so I can bus/train it to Slovenia. Thats a bit mad that you cant fly to Austria Spring/Summer as I have been there before and more to do than ski.

    Fly Aer Lingus to Vienna?

Venice is much closer to Slovenia than Salzburg, ryanair fly there throughout the year and there is quite a few options how to get from Venice to Ljubljana

Vienna is an extra 50 mins away compared to Salzberg. My two friends never been to Venice they might want to stay a bit I have been their twice already lol. It such a hard country to get to I rang RA few months ago and they said 6 mths beforehand for Salzberg I might try and contact them again to see if they will be putting on Salzburg flights April 2016 onwards if they dont then I guess I can look at other alternatives. I preferably dont want to be getting a flight from UK where I have to stay overnight to get a connection.

Venice treviso or Verona are all fine options. We drove from Verona two years ago. Can also get the train to Trieste and go to slovenia that way. Depends on where you're going.

Would have to be Verona if Italian option cos Dublin dont fly to the others was in Verona for a week two years ago nice place treviso is the shorter option 1.30 hrs from Verona then another 2.5 journey to Slovenia or 6hr train journey vienna to Lljubliana. Can't get to Zagreb direct either lol

Would you consider taking an indirect flight? I find Lufthansa are usually the best value to Central and Eastern European destinations where there are no direct flights from Dublin.
