Cold water pressure issue

    Hi

In the last few days the pressure on my cold water supply keeps dropping back completely. I have my own private well which has a pressure vessel attached and a switch with a little reset button (I'm no plumber......!). When the pressure drops I just press the reset button and after a minute or so the pressure returns. Any ideas?

Sounds like a problem with the pump itself, could be a capacitor or windings problem.
Best to get someone who knows about them out to take a look.

Dirt in the pressure switch causes this symptom remove 6 Phillips screws and clean away dirt remove dirt from the hole going through to the manifold. Good luck remember release pressure by running kitchen cold tap till it stops before taking out screws. Un plug the pump first.
