Standard frames should do id prob stick 3 5 inch fire rated ball bearing hinges on them any bigger than 32x80 I'd be putting four hinges on them. What weight are the doors ?

tks bonzo, dont know the weight yet. They are 32 x 80 so would be very heavy. Any tips for deepening the rebate as the frames have only a standard rebate.

That's a job alright!! probably the best way would be to use a trimming bit on a router to increase the rebate and chisel the last 4-5 inches on the bottom absolute pig of a job especially if it's hardwood frames
Nearly handier just to scrap the frames and get new ones joinery made.
Or another idea would be to plant a slip of the correct size on to the face of the frame and have the architrave marry into the side of it via a lapped rebate could look well.

    tks lads,

the frames are softwood. Only 2 frames have been made and installed so far so I have scope for change still. The router might work. I didn't think about getting a joinery to make up the frames. Is this an expensive job normally?

    Cheers

If the other frames aren't made up and if it were mine I'd take out the other frames dis mantle them send them and the rest of the frame lengths down to a joinery an get the rebates increased to 56mm it's a far neater and quicker job and they would only charge labour only.
