Wheel bearing replacement price

    hi all

    is €175 reasonable for a front wheel bearing replacement in a 2006 honda accord?

    €75 for the bearing FAG, is that a good make and €100 for labour

    The mechanic that done the work will be lucky to see €15

    Don't ask for a breakdown of what they charge for someone else's labour, they don't like that . ;)

    Good job that ramps, buildings and electricity are free. Don't forget that due to are litigious culture insurance is also a pittance for companies working with dangerous chemicals and machines. You'd hardly expect a business to have to pay for air would you?

    The bearing seems to be close on €200 here in Micksgarage.

    Add up to an hours labour on to this. It's a pretty straightforward job to change a rear bearing on these. Having said that, they rarely give trouble and you may well be able to get a good one from a breakers for €50 that will see out the car.

    What mileage on it as a matter of interest?
