    Hiya,

Sorry if this isn't been posted in the right section. A friend of mine is thinking about selling off a piece of land to the forestry and was just wondering if there would be any or much of a tax liability? Thanks.

there are so many factors. When it was bought, for how much, cost of selling, enhancement expenditure etc

    Get an accountant.

Your allowed a yearly tax credit for CGT for €1,270
