The next 100km spin will be on Sunday 1st November. This is a self-supported ride. Leaving 9:30am from St. Enda's Park, Sarah Curran Avenue, Dublin 16.

    Route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/9286693

There is car parking from 9:00am at the car park in St. Enda's Park off Grange Road Dublin 16.

This is a flat route that takes you from South Dublin out to Prosperous in Kildare and returns to the start point via Celbridge and Tallaght. The roads are busy at the start and finish but the middle is on quiet lanes. There are no significant climbs en route.

This is for anyone interested in learning more about audax. There will be no printed route sheet or controls but there will be opportunities to stop for coffee en route for those that wish to do so.

All going well, I'll be there to tag along. Thoroughly enjoyed the last one a couple of weeks ago, and having this one start a few hundred metres from my front door is a nice bonus.

We'll leave at 9:30am. You can go at your own pace if you want, there may not be anyone with you though! The car park closes at 4:30pm. It's like a club spin for people who don't do club spins!

Not a bother. I might even talk the youngest into cooking up some muffins!

Grange rd, St Enda's carpark. meeting at 9, leaving 9.30. 100k spin on relatively flat roads thru south east Dublin and east Kildare, contact helenkerrane@gmail.com. This is not an official audaxireland event, just a spin to give those who are interested a taste in long distance cycling.

Very enjoyable spin on a day that felt more like late summer than November 1st. Many thanks to NamelessPhil and the Audax Ireland crew for organising.

Got up late so missed the group rolling out. Set off about an hour behind. Great route on nice quite roads. Got a bit chilly the further west you headed.

Thanks to everybody who came out today. A nice sized group of 12 or so bodies made it round the 100km. We left Dublin bathed in sunshine and headed for darkest Kildare and the mist. It got colder the further west we went. The roads weren't too busy apart from mass goers in some places. We kept an orderly group and pace even if it did get a bit skittish towards the end.

I arrived back to the park hoping to say thanks and goodbye but we seemed to have got broken up in traffic. Thanks for organising it and I enjoyed taking in many new roads. Nice to put a face to some Boardsies. :)
