    Hi,
Is anyone considering going with Falcon on their new trips next Summer. Pricey enough but with direct flights on a Dreamliner. Must say, look tempting.

    Any thoughts?

Have you priced it booking similar trip yourself and compared the difference and flexibility of doing it yourself?

I have as any European holiday I go on I book flights and accommodation separately myself, infact this would be the first time I ever went with a travel agency.

I think Falcon/Thomson are really competitive here, as far as I am aware there are no other direct flights to Cancun or Jamaica from Dublin. Limited with the resorts but some of them look really nice and located in nice towns.

Still not cheap by any means but do-able with plenty of time to save.

The deals I have saw look good, Jamaica will be cheaper I expect as I believe uptake is not as strong.

I wondered what the take up would be like and if the prices will fluctuate much.
Not sure when the best time to book would be.

    Did you book anything Indestructable?

Myself and family are booked for Jamaica next July for the 2 week package-a family wedding! We booked early (last Sept) as we didn't know what way the pricing was going to go and we have to go certain dates so we weren't flexible! I've no idea if the prices have gone up or down since (hopefully not much down!)

Yeah we decided to go for it and booked two weeks in Mexico from the end of June. We booked last November and since then I have been checking the prices (weekly) just out of curiosity really. The prices have been fluctuating but certainly not by much. No more than 50 euro either way from the price we paid I am happy enough with that.

The Jamaican holidays looked wonderful too!! I think we both made a good decision, it's nice to have something to look forward to in this dreary Winter

Next time book it through a Spanish travel agency then just book a chep flight to Madrid. Caribbean holidays are around 800 euro for 5 star hotels over there.

Have been looking at these holidays myself, unsure which to go for - Mexico or Jamaica. We're a couple in late 20's. Any idea if either are expensive once there? Trying to factor in spending money too before booking.

I am almost certain that you will be going all inclusive, the vast majority of hotels are AI, so pick one with good foods and selections.

The one we went for has 5 restaurants and various other outlets. All drink and food included.

The only expense we will have are tips and any excursions we may want to go on. We will bring 500 each for 2 weeks and will probably be more than enough

Can't comment on eating out in either Mexico or Jamaica as I haven't been.
