Winter Detail

    Hi all,

I'm hoping you might be able to help me out.

I'm looking to get someone to do a winter detail on my car. I'm driving a BMW 430 with low mileage and would like to look protect her for the next few months!

Usually I try to do a bit of a detail on my car myself but I'm struggling with time and I'm sure a professional would do a much better job than me in any event.

I'm wondering could you recommend anyone and give me a bit of info on what your typical winter details include.

    Thanking you!

Sorry, I over looked this part of the OP.

Very much depends on what you are looking for - if it is just protection of the paintwork during the winter months, the car will have to go through the usual decontamination steps - wash, de-tar, de-iron, clay, etc, and then the coating applied.

Perhaps if you are going something in the lines of nano technology for the coating, then perhaps a light polish would be necessary to ensure the best look is achieved.

Other things to consider, protection of wheels and glass.

There are many options, and the detailer will talk you through your options. But essentially, how long is a piece of string!

    What's your budget.

    Suppose it'd be €300.

Budget wouldn't be a huge issue I'd be more interested in what the detailer was proposing to do for the money.

You'll get a good service for around that price range, ask Brian (spirit detailing) about optimum gloss coat or better again optimum opti coat pro.
