    It's not something you can describe it's something you have to do if that makes sense. The best way I can describe is to slide out one loop over the other watching what direction the other ones going and then make sure it's the right direction your going in.

    Hold one of the loops, letting it hang down from your hand. Then grab the other loop and rotate it around the other one. Very hard to describe but very simple. It stills catches me out the odd time.

    Make the small loops bigger. It gets easier then.
