Electric window nct query

Anybody know if a dodgy electric window (on the front passenger side) would be an NCT fail. Just discovered that mine is going down ok but very slow and sticking/stopping on the way back up. Might just need a lube or new brushes, but was wondering either way.

    Thanks.

No. They only check the drivers door window.

My drivers door window was dodgy and it didn't effect the outcome. I don't think they check Windows but am open to correction.

    6. Check that the driver’s window operating mechanism is functioning properly.

Can confirm too that drivers side is checked, wife's car failed due to this recently

I think it depends on the mechanic doing the checking, tbh. My car, before I took it off the road, had an immovable passenger window for years and passed-ish. The main thing they used to rear up at was the dogginess of the car - I was twice sent away to redo the valeting I'd been doing for a week before the NCT!
