MyAccount on Revenue Online

I've just accessed this for the first time and browsed through all the sections.

I noticed they've got Form12 down as outstanding for a few years, even though I've never received one and my only income in PAYE.

Surely they've have had to issue me one before listing something as outstanding. There was nothing on the older Revenue Online system about it & I've never had any correspondence from them about it.

I don't understand how this can just suddenly appear out of the blue. I claimed a tax credit for a disabled child last year, would this be why they've done it?

Same thing happened me. Logged in for first time and found two years outstanding on Form 12 returns. Got no notification of these whatsoever. Rang revenue. Was told that they shouldnt be there. Glitch in system. Was told it would be rectified and I would get a call back that evening.
Week later no call back and the outstanding returns still showing on site.

Same, must check next week if it's a fecking system issue or what. Not even sure how it was looking for one in 2013 as I was IT reg'd.

Anyone contact Revenue and get a response to this problem?

What are my options now to get rid of these outstanding returns which should not be there ?.
1 Fill in forms for outstanding years and risk fine and penalty for late return..
2 Ignore returns as I was told they shouldnt be there and risk being caught in years to come for non returns.
3 Ring Revenue again and waste 30 mins of my time not to mention cost of call.

I also sent question via their contact me page. No reply.

Yes, I did contact them about it anyway and the response I got on the items showing as outstanding was that it is just letting you known these Returns can be processed, but it does not mean you are obliged to complete them.

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me to show something as outstanding that might not even apply to you but there ye have it
