    Hi guys

I had planned to purchase a thinkpad in the next week or so but they aren't shipping the new 6th gen processors until January (according to their sales team).
I know very little about these things but I don't really want to spend over a thousand euro on something that is essentially already out of date. Is there a big enough difference that I should wait until they start shipping 6th gen, should I just buy now with the current 5th gen or should I go for a different brand that is already using the newest ones - dell Xps 13 I was looking at

    Any opinions greatly appreciated!

If it were me, and I was set on the Lenovo I would wait it out for the next gen processors. It's not too long of a wait.

Superfish + Lenovo = all trust lost. I used to preach them as my number one option but on principal I wouldnt go near em again.
