    Great price in fairness.

no doubt the price is a decent deal but as there is no stock of the unchartered game, i dont the deal can be availed upon?

It can. You just take the rest of the deal and collect Unchartered when its in stock again. They will mark your receipt to say it hasn't been collected.

Sorry for old Dad question, but why would a 1tb be better for normal use? My lad has a PS3 500gb and hasn't used hardly any of the storage.....maybe times hve moved on, please advise :)

All games have to be saved to the HD now with both the Xbox One and PS4.

It speeds up load times etc.

Xbox 360 and PS3 could play directly from disc.

My lad will only play a couple of different games (80% FIFA!) so 500gb ok you think?

For the extra 30 euro you're better off with a 1TB. I only managed to load 4 games on my PS4 500GB before running out of space. There's software updates and game updates to download and install. A new hard drive will set you back 50-70 euro usually so it's better to buy the 1TB

Game installs are about 5-10 times bigger than on the old consoles, but for a handful of games the 500gb should be fine.

I actually don't know man. I never tried. I know you can with the Xbox one but that's because you can't swap out the internal hard drive.

You can replace the HD in the PS4 but it doesn't support play from an external HD.

Like a previous poster said the extra €30 makes sense now as you'll save yourself time and money in the long run.
