Jesus, that sounds very nasty. Burnt alive in a bus, what an awful way to go.

Must have hit a petrol tanker to cause that kind of carnage

you would hope that the smoke consumed them and they passed out before that.

may they all rest in peace, a horrible tragedy.

Local media is reporting that both the coach and the lorry burst into flames on impact. Around 60 firefighters were called to the scene to deal with the crash.

    Yikes. Poor folk.

Like other tragedies it does put a lot of the stuff we all worry about into a stark contrast.

They were probably parents and grand parents. That's an awful lot of people just having their first day of a lot of hurt, right now.:(

Very sad news for so many families.

According to that article, the eight survivors only had minor injuries or were unharmed ... hard to believe you could walk away uninjured from an incident like that which killed so many! They were very lucky.

Just saw on Sky News that the lorry driver had his three year old son with him - both were killed. :(

The thing that always runs through my mind is I wonder if they were 4 couples, or if one got out and the other ...

Its just a bit of a horror of mine :o. To think wow likely escape, where's herself ...

    Almost better to go together.
