Mazda RX8 - Low Mileage Question?

    Hi folks,

I've been looking at RX8's recently and most of the ones I've seen on various websites seem to have really low mileage - e.g. 2005/2006 models with 40, 50 or 60k on the clock.
What's the reason behind this? Is it that they are only suitable for a few Ks a year or do they die after 60K or is that a milestone where they need some serious work and you either sell it OR do the work and keep it for another 10 years after that?

I'm puzzled so any info would be appreciated. Toying with the idea of getting one but would be doing 10K plus a year so not sure if an RX8 would suit?

    Cheers.

Do a search, lots of threads on rx8's. I used to have one and it was a fantastic car and generally very reliable, only for family constraints I would still have it. I got 17-20mpg so people generally don't do big miles in them.
