We recently had a powercut, it turns out it was the shower that blew the switch, I've checked all the fuses and they are all "on", but the shower still won't turn on, at the switch in the celling its the same, is there anything that I can do. I recently replaced the pump myself (about 8 months ago) and its been working perfect up to now. So could the new pump have blown it. Will I replace it again, or do I need to do anything on the fuse box.

Here's my fuse box, can I just pull the fuse with the yellow button out and replace it ?

dont think there fuses as it blows you replace it,trip switches you can reset it it ,if it keeps tripping why is it ? do you suffer from limescale by any chance?how old is your shower and is the filter clear and clean.

Thanks, it wasn't in use at the time, power just flicked on and off, it was completely random, so I don't know why its not working now, we don't get limescale at all, shower is about 8 years old now, and has never tripped out the switch.

Just to add the pull cord (breaker switch?) won't click I think that might be the issue.

So do I need to replace that or is it purposely not working (very little exp with this stuff) because of a problem with the shower i.e. pump no2 gone. I might order another replacement pump if thats the case.

Sounds like your shower is working perfectly. If you have no light on the shower, no pump noise and no water coming out then you don't have 230 volts going to it. It's most likely the pull cord or wall switch. Failing that then the trip switch needs replacing.
Its illegal for you to work on the fuse box. I strongly suggest that you get a REC in to test everything.
