I never heard of him before that match, but he actually looked decent enough when he came on. Didn't look out of place or anything.

I don't rate Joe Allen at all as a Liverpool player. Happy to be proved wrong etc if Klopp can get something out of him then great, but he's not for me. He's Swansea level. A Scott Parker lite if you will. Will look brilliant at the likes of Swansea, West Ham etc, but won't do the business at the big clubs.

I think comparing him to Parker is even kind. Like yourself, I'd hope he proves me wrong but I just can't see it.
