You're going to have to be more vague

I heard something about it today, faulty electric window switch or regulator on Avensis, Auris and Yaris afaik. Don't have the details though.

Toyota will recall 6.5 million vehicles for potential fire risk 1.2 million vehicles in Europe power window switches may short circuit . The recalled vehicles manufactured outside of Japan were produced between August 2005 and August 2006 and January 2009 to December 2010 . Also vehicles built in Japan between January 2005 and August 2006 and from August 2008 to June 2010 . Vehicles include Yaris Corolla Rav4 and many more not sold here . The reason insufficient grease applied to the electrical contact points . One customer received a burn to hand and 11 reports where the switch and door trim were burnt .. Automotive News europe

Bring it back, check engine light could mean anything.

You have no idea what the issue could be, could be pure coincidence. Could be a bad replacement switch causing an intermittent grounding fault.

What exactly was your recall for? The recent seat rail?

It's for a pcms switch but I was given no paperwork and told nothing about what the issue was I am going by Toyota Ireland if it is bad replacement that it isn't good enough I have reported them to the simi for not doing a proper job and for the inconvenience of me going back twice

Why did you report them when you have yet to establish if they have anything to to with the engine light coming on? For all you know it could be a pure coincidence and the light could be related to something completely different. You seem to be massively overreacting tbh.

Excuse are you defending Toyota it's something they did when I brought my car in it was fine when I left a light came on because they didn't do the job right I have the car for 2 and half years and there never has been anything wrong with it not one issue of course it's related to what they did the car is a 09 I am not overacting I have to go back to them twice that is a massive inconvenience I was told that they might have left a connector out or there is air blocking a valve they admitted that it was something that they did not do right and have to hook it up to competitor to check what it is are you saying I am overacting because I am a woman I am entitled to complain when a job is not done right

    Complain to the garage?
Then when you know what you're exactly complaining about complain higher up (if you still feel the same)
Check engine light doesn't necessarily mean your car is broken. It should only take a short time for them to put it right.
It isn't ideal obviously, but it's not worth getting worked up over at this stage.
