Has anyone had either tyres on their cars?

    What experience was it?

Funny, I was asking about the Kumho Ku39 over on Seloc, the Lotus forum.
The consensus seems to be that the wet grip is really good at the cost of high wear but if you want a track day tyre the dry grip is not great but fine for a road tyre. I was thinking of trying them on the ISF. I reckon that for a road tyre wet grip takes precedence over anything else.

I've KU39s on the front of a MK6 GTI, find them surprisingly good. You have to push quite hard to provoke a loss of grip.

Looks like I'll be going with Kumhos then, thanks!

Ku39s on the E60 that my son just sold.
I couldnt fault the grip in them especially in the wet. That car was pushing 200bhp and 300 Lbs torque.
275/30/19 on thr rear and not a hope of lighting them up on a straight line.
I was impressed., No idea of wear life as they had less than 4k miles on them when he sold it but they looked new.

I hade the KU39s on my MPS and found them superb. Grip was very good in wet and dry. The only thing I didn't like was that they wore badly on the inside but that was down to the insane camber setup on the car.
