Serious Assault

    Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault that took place in the city last weekend.

    A Galway man aged in his 50’s was assaulted by 2 men and was taken to UHG for the injuries he sustained.

    The unprovoked assault took place at William Street West between 2.30 and 2.40am last Saturday.

    Gardaí are curently reviewing CCTV footage of the area and are appealing for any witnesses to contact Millstreet Garda station.
