Just put my Golf up for sale or trade, not sure what to go for, any ideas

    I put my car up on DD and adverts last week, for sale or trade, not sure what to go for, 2006 MK5 GTI.
    My own car has had tb/ wp done last year, new alloys, stainless exhaust, remap and brake disc upgrade, so it doesn't need anything.
    I would like to keep under 7500 if possible and get a bigger presence car, at least 150bhp or more.

    Because i'm only part time that puts me out of anything with serious tax, i've been thinking of a few models, any bmw coupe, a4 avant, honda accord, or even subaru forrester..

    Car has to be at least 2Litre and petrol, also i prefer a manual, anyone any experience with the cars listed, what to look out for..

    Would like to stay 05 onwards as well..

    Any help appreciated
