hi all, I have a 3 bed semi, with radiators on the ground floor and radiators on the first floor. These are controlled by a thermostat on each floor. When both floors are on all the radiators are grand and warm which is hunky dory but when I just want the ground floor on only 2 out of the 4 radiators are heating up. and the other 2 are stone cold. Have any of you come across this problem before?

    thanks in advance

These downstairs rads could be plumbed from upstairs.

    hi

no it could be any combination of the 4 rads on the ground floor that heat up when only downstairs needs heat. but its always 2 hot and 2 cold. its very strange

this is only a recent problem.

before you could turn on the downstairs heating and all 4 rads would work away as normal, the same for upstairs.
