Dead Dell!

Dell XPS 630i desktop with Win 7 Ultimate.

System powers on, led lights up yellow on motherboard, fans spin up, Video card fan runs, HDDs power up but dead screen.

Swapped out video card, no change.

All RAM out, no beeps. All four sticks swapped in & out of each slot, no joy.

    CPU out, no beeps.

    Reset CMOS

    PSU tests ok.

Can't see any obvious capacitor damage on motherboard.

    That's all I've got!

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I think you've certainly gone through most of the checks I can think of. I would try just installing one stick of RAM in each slot (swap the stick you use around the different slots). It's possible that the motherboard has failed in some way. Could also be the CPU is gone.

CPU or mobo failure, my monies on the Mobo. 775 isnt worth repairing at this point tbh.
