Micro atx gaming build

    Hi guys, just looking for advice for an micro atx build.


    What is your budget? €500

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Casual gaming

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? No


    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? /Credit Card/Laser/paypal

    9. When are you purchasing? Next couple of weeks

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? No help needed

    Will be able to claim the VAT back by purchasing through work so that might limit the choice of sites to purchase from? No

    B85m board €60
    8gb RAM €40
    mATX case €50
    400w PSU €50
    1tb HDD €50
    GTX950 €160
    Total €530

    I'd recommend stretching to that. If you don't want to budge on it, get a cheaper case or a GTX750Ti for €120

    Iveh benchmarks in the Off Topic in the last few pages of an i3 with a 950, it ran TW3 at Ultra 30fps

    The 950 will play anything at that res with high settings

    1600mhz is the general speed. Pretty much any Hyper X or Crucial RAM is fine

    and what does it mean dual bios ? I was using Laptops long time and now decided to build Pc Its bit hard.

    Which mATX what? For a motherboard, any B85M or H81M is grand

    Case wise, I'd look at a nice BitFenix or Zalman

    I'm not sure to be honest, wouldn't fret over that. I think it's more a buzzword than anything important at this budget
