    1. What will you do in the corners to brace,
    2. what width are the bags,
    3. what's the base detail for irish conditions,
    4. what size are you planning,
    5. how long do you expect it will take
    6. are you building a tarp over it for Irish winter construction,
    7. whats the earth like this time of year for digging, have you a machine rented,

Look up cob or rammed earth construction you'll get a few Irish blogs and sites. That's where I'd start
You'll find plenty of construction people here who will offer conventional advice, can we assume this is a back garden build? if your hands on and know what you need to do to make it stand safely best of luck to you! Great to see some photos of the progress.

Caveat for all aspiring builders :
probably no harm in reviewing the design with a competent builder or better structural eng, and it would be a good idea to farnilairise your self with the building regs/planning and health & safety regs and your obligations.

Base will be dug out to 40cm, ggravel filled then heavy duty pallets, bags go on the outside of the palletts.

    No.

No, I have loads of excess earth from digging a drain. We have made an '8 bag filler' device which is non scientific.

Not sure of what to do with the roof, trying to be a bit eco & a bit cheap too. Any ideas?

Area is about 3100 * 4600mm. Preferably sloped.

Agreed, I'm a novice but am assisted by an engineer.
