Modern Furniture

Bloody hell, does anyone know where I could buy a table that isn't rustic, country chic, blingy corporate, french, cute, glass or steel please?

I like sleek simple modern, think mid century style. Think Danish.

I don't have thousands. No interest in collectors' items, I just like the look.

I can see plenty of stuff in the UK shops online but nothing here. (Think Heals, eg https://www.heals.com/novak-4-6-seater-extending-dining-table.html)

Please help, I'm snow blind looking at the awful and the obscenely expensive :(

Would you consider buying a vintage mid-century table? I don't think I'm allowed to name companies here but there are a number of these around the country. Google vintage furniture Ireland and you'll get a few hits.

I love mid-century Danish furniture also.

I've had very good experience with made.com but it's also an online UK retailer. Great value though.

I would def consider vintage, they seem v overpriced here when I compare to uk, I'll keep googling though :)

Have been eyeing up made.com. Looks great, but consumer reviews v mixed? Have actually ordered lampshades from them to see how it works.

Would love to hear if anyone ordered big items like sofas or tables from them.

I have a sofa, side tables and lamps and they are all fine, my friend returned his sofa though, some things you need to see in person. I would definitely buy smaller items again.
