i am curious as to which would be best for the following job.
I am doing a limehempcrete walll in my old stone cottage and putting up the timber on the walls for the shuttering.

Would mushrooms or rawplugs with brass screws be best to use? Would the Lime eat the mushrooms with corrosion?

To make it clear you are wondering what fixings you should use to attach the battons to the wall from which the shuttering sheets will be attached to. I presume this means you will leave the battons in situ once the job is complete.

I am not sure about the fixings but:

You could remove the battons once the limecrete has firmed up and fill the void after their removal.

    or

you could avoid using battons all together and have a frame and shuttering floating free from the wall.
