Perhaps a few TD's cars broke down on the way to the airport.

What sounded like every squad car in south Dublin plus the chopper went flying past in ballycullen direction about ten minutes ago.

That many cars, it was either a long pursuit or covered many precincts or was something major.

We don't have precincts here. You sure you're not in NYC?

Missed the chopper but saw and counted at least 10 Garda cars flying up St Colmcilles Way in Knocklyon. Must be something big going on. No sign of it on any of the news websites.

Could it be the escort for the cash from Dublin Airport to the mint?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,373 ✭✭✭✭foggy_lad

Unless it is the tax I am owed I doubt it:) wish I had seen the lead car to know what was going on.

Wrong direction for the airport and Carrickmines I think.

All the roads in all the areas in all the parts of Dublin and you all live on the same route?

It's like an overrated Bogie and Bergman movie.

If they only had access to such modern technology as Google Maps they could plan the chase and call other stations to setup roadblocks rather than have 10 cars chasing another car all over the city.

Possibly due to a breakdown in communication ......... first car is unmarked police car ........ nobody relayed message ....... acting suspiciously - looking for scobes ...... then a cop car follows it and calls for help.
    Simple!

Probably a quad of scrotes with 400+ previous convictions on the loose.

I don't know why the A.G.S. bother doing their job given the fact that the Dept of Justice does not take crime seriously in Ireland.
