I need to get a bike to get to work and back as soon as possible but the problem is I haven't got 400-500 to giveaway just like that (I dont want to buy a toy) and I wonder if there is any place around Galway that offers good bikes at a reasonable price to pay for in installments?

    Any help appreciated,

    Thanks

I'd say your best bet would be either the Cycle to Work Scheme or talk to your Credit Union or bank about getting a loan to spread the cost.

Bike to work can be spread over 12 months and you get tax savings with it

I reckon all the Bike Shops would do it this time of year - Kearney's & Nigels. They used to in the past.

A quick search and Garry's have their Christmas Club mentioned on their website: http://www.bicyclesandmowers.com/

New place just open in Briarhill are offering it. Article in the advertiser last week mentions it: http://www.advertiser.ie/galway/article/80043/connaught-bicycle-and-garden-machinery-open-in-briarhill

Are these Christmas Clubs not for paying into over time and getting a bike at the end of the saving period? The OP needs their bike ASAP.

Another options is picking up a cheap second hand bike now, save for a good bike then sell the old bike again when you've enough gathered.
