    I'm not looking for medical advice, I'm just looking for peoples experience following a vasectomy. I know everyone is different and no two cases will be the same but I was simply wondering how long afterwards were people able to ride their bikes. I realise a lot of people here know others and so may not want to post their experience so I'll put up a poll so people can give their own experience in confidence. If you wish to post your experience then thank you.

    FWIW, I had a Vasectomy yesterday, it was completely pain free and still is (36hrs later and no medication) The doc advised me to stay off the bike for a week however I will probably wait till the weekend after this one so that'll be 11 days which hopefully should be ok.

    Are you sure that you didn't take the doctor up wrong ? Did he say no riding or no cycling?

    No I asked how long before I could cycle again.

    He's not a cyclist but I know someone who got snipped and was back to work building the next day
