Hi, does anybody know if the free dental examination under PRSI is one per year only or can I go to a different dentist in the same year and claim it?.

No, it's linked to your PPS number, there is a firm to fill in on the day to claim

Sorry, do you mean no I can only have one PRSI dental exam per year or no it's not limited to only one exam?.

You can only have one. The claims are managed electronically, and the receptionist will likely check even before you arrive to ensure that you're entitled to one that year.

Cheers, I'll have to wait until the end of the month then so.

Was your last one October 14?

I'm near certain its once per calendar year not rolling 12 months. This is how the medical card limits on # of teeth filled works anyway, but its been a while since I worked anywhere near the dental sector.

Sorry I meant I'll have to wait for an app as I can't afford it until the end of the month. I have bruxism and my left jaw and neck are in bits from it.
