Sell my car after it's been stolen

So i had my car stolen last week from my drive (12 reg Ford Focus, 1.4) Nothing special, just a run of the mill Focus. I had the keys so no idea how they got in. It was found yesterday with no damage, but with false plates. I was going to sell it a few months ago and am raging as i spent a few years saving up to buy a bigger car and now that's have to be shelved because of these scumbags.

Just wondering now that it has a record of being stolen is there any realistic chance of selling it or will i be forced to drop the price a lot?. Any advice welcome.

As far as I know theres only a record if it was stolen and insurance paid out.

Did you have the car from new? Have you all keys that came with it? Very odd that it was stolen without the key, unless it was keyless start and someone hacked a new key.

Yes always had the keys. Garda said they might have cloned the key. Was amazing if I ever get it washed and hand in the keys. Apparently some gangs are doing the rounds cloning keys while fm they are out of the owners hands. Have no memory of doing that. Anyway probably best to talk to the insurance company and ask them about having any record of it stolen. If there's no damage hopefully it's just a case of collecting it. Thanks frontier comment.
