    This has been happening since the day over head compartments were fitted on aircraft! It's just banter among the crew!
    When I started I recall being on a turnaround and the captain climbed into an overhead locker, the other crew closed it and the plan was u would open it and he would jump out to give me a fright, just for a laugh ! It backfired when the senior opened it up instead and the captain stuck his head out nearly gave them a heat atack! All was in good humour !

    I've been on several long haul flights where I would have given anything to be able to crawl into an overhead locker just to lie down and get some sleep!
