Parking Fine

I got a parking fine for Dublin city centre but have never driven there how can I appeal, Garda must have taken down wrong reg of vehicle

Have you any proof you weren't there at the time. Clocked in at work, doctors appointment at the time etc. Anything you can send to prove you were elsewhere.

On the day in question where was the car?

Were
a) you driving it elsewhere
b) someone else driving it so you don't know where it was ?


if A then as ken said do you have proof that it was elsewhere ? fines go to the registered owner.

Just the reg

call the fine office, explain this to them.

it's common enough for a typo on the reg.
You'll most likely find, it's not your make of car
