Hi, really need help on where to stay in Albufiera next June!
We are a group of 5 adults and 2 kids (3yr +12 yrs).
Any recommendations on where to stay that is central to both old and new town and suitable for a 3 year old!!
would prefer 2 bed apartments so we would be together but open to suggestions!
Thanks so much, we never go away so really want it perfect.
    Thanks in advance

Hi Mullydoll, we went to Albuferia for the first time last year. After a lot of research stayed at the alfagar 11 aparthotel, although a bit outside it is ideal for families and kids in particular.

We were at a wedding there 3 weeks ago. There's a free shuttle bus (at least I was told it was free) that goes regularly from the new part to the old town. We found that a lot (4 anecdotal examples constitutes a 'lot', right?)of the supposedly mid range hotels close to the old town are quite old and dingy - like they were built in the 70's and barely had a lick of paint since. The old town itself is great, loads of restaurants and bars, you'll find a bargain or two for meals if you look away from the square. The beach there is one of the best I've seen.

If going again, we'd stay in the new part and shuttle down.
