Changing to a different flight with Ryanair

Here's the situation. My wife and I are booked on a Ryanair flight at the end of the month. It would suit me to travel a couple of days earlier and I can book a flight for less than the Ryanair change fee.

Assuming I do this and travel on the earlier flight, will the fact that I am not travelling on the later flight with my wife affect her booking in any way? And will it have any impact on the return flights?

It shouldnt do as Ryanair sell two single tickets and not a return. I know with Flybe if you dont show for your outgoing flight they cancel your return. Your best bet is just give them a call. Think they have live customer service chat on their website.

Thanks. I'll see if I can get someone to advise me online. Because my wife and I are on the same booking, I can't change my flight online and anyway, it's cheaper to just book another flight. I don't want to call them because it's a premium rate number and I would probably be on hold for ages.
