Hi, I'm a sixth year student at the moment and am interested in this course. I know the course content interests me but I'm just wondering about the job after. As a technician (of whichever specialty) do you only run the tests on the patient or are you also involved in the diagnosis? I'd prefer if you were as I'm interested in both medical and technical things rather than just technical.

Just found this and I'm in the exact same position as you, I'm just unsure as to whats actually involved in the day to day job after the course
