Broadband near Castlecove, Kerry

Hi,

First post, so hello everyone.

I was wondering two things.

1. What would people rate as the best broadband option for the Castlecove (Kerry) Area, both in terms of provider and method?

Seems that there is a lot of exaggeration going on by the providers as to speed and some scare stories about all the satellites being oversubscribed (true?)

2. Has anyone heard of SCC? They seem to operate a wireless mast) technology in the area, but no idea of what they are like.


There are no phone lines in the area at all of any kind. Vodafone says on their map that their coverage is good.

This is for business use. I'm looking for fast speeds (I know, I know) and a large data allowance.

Any ideas?

You might be covered by a Fixed Wireless operator such as Permanet or other.

I would not even consider Satellite without checking every other possibility.

The coverage might be spotty in Castlecove.
