Required Details for Water Conservation Grant application

    I registered with Irish Water in 2014 and received no further correspondence from them. I assumed as I am a Group Water Scheme user that would be it and the grant would be handled automatically in tandem with the Dept of Social Protection. I assumed wrong.

    I have been speaking to the grant support helpline who advised me that they require an A/c number or Registration number, and a WPRN in order to action any grant application.
    Im aware that the DSP are administering the grant application but they can not complete someone's application if THEY or the customer have not received any details from Irish Water.

    Would appreciate a response from someone at Irish Water on this ASAP.

    Finally got through to IW on the phone this morning after a lot of searching found my account/reg no and WPRN. I called back the grant support team but they could find nothing on the system for this a/c no. They asked me to call back IW again. I had waited for 40 minutes the last time. Will need to PM details as I can't stay on the phone here.
