My bike lock is refusing to open, I tried wd40 to loosen it up but that didn't help, should I just break it off myself.
It's locked in college by Aras na Gaeilge so I'm worried about someone thinking I'm robbing a bike, should I email buildings first or just go get my hammer?

LOL. This was bound to happen sometime this month. Talk to security (not Buildings!) and they might sort you out. Prove that it's your by CCTV when you parked it if they are in doubt. You also have the key right?

    I wouldn't bring a hammer on campus :D

I emailed security they just said to break it, they didn't mind once I told them what bike it was and where it was in case anyone rang them. Hammer did the job fairly quickly :)

If a hammer broke it quickly then it probably wasn't a very good lock to start with

Glad to hear you got sorted. They're nice guys. You better get a better block next time so ;)
