Wife Entitlements

    Ok so I just got married to a girl from Argentina, she got her visa no bother, my question is does she now have any entitlement to health coverage as I have a medical card, also a little thing we think she is expecting, Im kinda all over the place right now as their is no way Id be able to pay for the delivery or anything in regards to having a baby

    Don't know about the medical card but maternity services are free anyway. You need to be "ordinarily resident" for free services but I can't imagine them disputing this- I know one non- EU national who came here to stay with her husband when she was already pregnant and it was free

    As she is your dependent you can apply for a medical card for her.
    I assume you have one yourself.
    She will need a pps number.

    Well were both unemployed, just came home from Canada, so dont see that as a problem
