Anyone know how long the voucher is valid?

Valid until 12/10. Got the Herald for 90c in Dunnes Dundalk, only 72c, as it was part of my shoopping with a €10 off €50 voucher.

Its back in the indo and herald on Tuesday 3rd November.

Tried to use it today but was told at the till that it couldn't be applied because there was a €1 discount on the item (€23.99 to €22.99). There was no mention of any discount on the shelf price or item. Happened to someone else that I know as well with €1 also taken off.

I've no problem with discounted items not being included but it should be clear what is and is not discounted rather than having to queue and find out. I'll be buying the toy online (for cheaper) instead.

Looks like theyll be using the on-sale/discounts in combination with the voucher to lure you in and then offload the stuff they dont want.
    Very clever idea.

I just used the voucher in Smyths near Jervis for an item that was already half price and got a further €6 off!
    Happy days :)

  • I have a €6 off voucher from yesterday's Limerick Chronicle. However the item I'm purchasing is €110 so I have a hankering for a €12 voucher. I'm greedy you see. Are there any of these rarities around at the moment?

Check their site or if online replace the 6 with a 12

  • Yeah I'm just too late to the party it seems.

:edit: the voucher in the Chronicle isn't for online purchases!
