Lost Helmet at priests leap

I cycled up priests leap yesterday doing recon for a long spin, a friend drove up behind me and I left my specialized helmet and gloves up there

I drove up there today and they were gone-if anyone hears about someone finding them, can they let me know-thanks a lot

Search strava by day/week to see who else went up since and ask them via strava.

Agreed. I'm afraid that your best bet is to just go up again and look for it but I'm sure you're trying to avoid that end game.

+1 on that but I'd recommend you go from the kenmare side this time ;-)

Just has a look. Only one person on Strava went up the Kerry side yesterday and no one recorded as going up the Cork side yesterday.

Thanks Wishbone-that was me went up the Kerry side, did it on a mates bike, it was a 56cm, I ride a 51, had a few issues with mine etc, his is a tank and weighs about albs more than mine, I still too 4th place on Strava though-drove up there today again, no sign of said helmet

4th place on a bike that was heavy and several sizes to big! Respect!


It more than likely you stuff was picked up by a well intentioned motorist (probably a tourist) but I don't know where you'd go from there.

yeah, I thought the same thing myself, but dunno what shop I'd go to, as there is nothing near there-store/pub etc-thanks anyway…..
