Hi Everyone .first time post , I've a few questions regards my self build and would be very appreciate of advice and opinions be it from builders self builders etc ..
I have full planning on my build project and we have broken ground ie clearing site marking out .Hope to be digging foundations this week .
my questions regards the build are as follows

1.Insurance . Im a self employed carpenter/cabinetmaker I have my own public liability and employers liability
I've priced self build policy's and there are costing around 1600 per 18 months of construction can I get a builders policy for my own insurance and cover my build myself through my company insurance ?
if I can do I need to register for anything else to be deemed a builder ?

this might work out better for me as I see my self undertaken the renovation of a house for a another family member also ?

what safety forms do I need or have to fill out
    AF2 form
    CS2 form

everyone that is on the site has to have a valid safety card
sub contractors need there own public liability and there own valid safety statements ?
any thing else I need to put in place ?

I have assigned my self as the builder and I've a approved architect and engineer on the BCS system .

any help or advice greatly appreciated .
