Cinema in Wexford - Poor selection.

This cinema doesn't cater for adults very well. Neighbouring counties have all had well-reviewed films for adults like 45 Years, Sicario and, this week, Macbeth. None of these films came to the Omniplex in Wexford.

Has the management found that Wexford people are thick and only want blockbusters and kids movies, both of which seem to run forever at the Wexford Omniplex?

I usually go to Gorey now. They tend to have a better selection.

Either way both cinemas show a better selection than our one in Enniscorthy. :(

Different Cinemas with Different Owners plus the owners of Wexford the Ward Anderson group deal with different distributors and have had a long going issue with certain distributes so they don't get certain films.

Sure Wexford Film Society starting soon in Arts Centre is you want something different.

Sicario is only out this week and is on in the cinema from Friday, as is Macbeth.

It looks like I spoke too soon. Two out the three films I mentioned are in Wexford this week.
