Heading out of town around Lunchtime (Tues-Thurs)
    Returning around 4.30 5ish

How much of a delay should I allow for. (No. 145 to Dunlaoghaire)

    thanks.

The buses move through quickly, even with one lane of southbound flow.

A word of caution; the 145 doesn't go anywhere close to Dun Laoghaire. Have you change to another bus en route?

Thanks for that, will be hopping off in Donnybrook then getting the 46a out.

If you hop off the 145 at Nassau Street you'll have the option of the 4 and the 7, both of which are no worse than the 46A. The 4 gets you to Monkstown Farm while the 7 serves Monkstown and Dun Laoghaire main street and Glenageary so they may get you to where you want as well.

oooops my fault for not explaining properly, I'm only heading towards Dunlaoire but only going to Deansgrange cross, to the cemetery.

1900 is when it is opened to all traffic, this is to early especially on Friday and Saturday, it is jammed solid with vehicles as soon as the ban is lifted. Bit of common sense would see it should be extended to help with the movement of buses across city.
