Just wondering if there is anywhere around the IFSC, East Wall, Drumcondra areas or within a one or two mile radius north of the city centre where you can park for free or very cheap 24/7 7 days a week? Am I living in a fantasy land to be even thinking about such a thing?

Even €20 a week might be manageable. .I'm living near whitworth road in Drumcondra and ideally somewhere close to there would work for keeping the car.

    Thanks for any suggestions

A lot of DC is charged because of matches and whatnot.

Mimount/Milbourne Avenue are still free as far as I know.

You may have better look going towards phibsboro.

Can you not get a permit if you live

  • You can park for free on places like Cliftonville Rd in Glasnevin and get a bus into the city centre, but there aren't a huge amount of spots.

Phibsboro has an area for 5 euro a day parking. Also drumcondra has a huge area of housing estates where permit parking is not needed as well as cabra.
