Clicking from passenger side front wheel

I first noticed this in July after a service. It comes and goes, sometimes it is perfect for weeks. There is noting stuck in the tyre and the clicking happens on the straight. It always used to happen at 30-60 Km/h. Now it happens at 10-30 km/h and is louder. I can't see anything hanging down or catching. Anyone got any ideas?

Clicking would typically be down to a cv joint on the way out if you have a front drive car. That would usually be heard when turning sharply though.

Could it be a rattle in a brake caliper.

Only happens on the straight, never while turning and is intermittent. Could be gone again tomorrow. I think it's something else other than the CV joint

Check your wheel nuts are tightened correctly.

Cracked disc or as I had a few years ago, a disc that has a bit flaked off.
Also have you at any point hit a pothole as my wife did a few years ago which caused a small distortion on the inside rim which then started a balancing weight snicking on the point where the shock attaches to the hub unit.

Have you got removable plastic wheel trims? It could be nothing more than a loose clip on a wheel trim that's moving as the wheel rotates, and it's surprising how loud they can be, and this sort of noise can be made worse if the trim is held on by cable ties

Another possible that would be worth checking is to make sure that none of the wheel nuts are loose, as that too can be a source of a click, and not so innocent.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Yes the trims are plastic and held on my cable ties. I will check that later. Thanks
