Wales come into this after their dramatic win over bitter rivals England last Saturday. Fiji have lost to both England and Australia but they certainly haven't been embarrassed. Fiji beat Wales in the 2007 World Cup and will really fancy their chances of causing an upset here.

    Teams:

M Morgan, Cuthbert, T Morgan, Roberts, North, Biggar, Davies, Faletau, Warburton (C), Lydiate, Jones, Davies, Francis, Baldwin, Jenkins.

Subs: Owens, Jarvis, Lee, Charteris, Tipuric, Williams, Priestland, Hook

Fiji: Talebula, Nagusa, Goneva, Botia, Tikoirotuma, Volavola, Kenatale, Talei, Qera (c), Waqanibura, Nakarawa, Cavubati, Saulo, Koto, Ma'afu

Subs: Veikoso, Ravai, Atalifo, Soqeta, Ravulo, Seniloli, Matavesi, Murimurivalu

    Referee: John Lacey (IRE)

Bright start for Wales but they seemed a bit blunt in how long it took to get over.

Davies taking his opportunity to hold onto that shirt

Did he lose control of the ball before grounding it?

Well now, Fiji got some shove on there. I think they have a lighter pack, no?

    Wales scrum just got destroyed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 811 ✭✭✭Flipper22

Wales have been absolutely blitzed the last two scrums. Legally too. If that keeps up it will sap their momentum hugely

Why are Wales wearing blue? Is it their alternate away kit?

Cuthbert looked to have gotten a bang to the head there and doesn't look comfortable. Should he not be looked at?

North was off his feet with Lacey looking at him and he plays on, in fact, Lacey talking to him afterwards said "you were off your feet".

Wales' shirt is ‘Anthracite’ in colour.

A few teams have been wearing their alternate kits when they haven't needed to. Marketing, I guess.

'one leave it, off your feet!" *one pops the ball back on the welsh side* 'turnover is good'

    Bizarre

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Even if Wales win this one they're going to be knackered by the time they play Australia. Some of them look knackered already. They'll be hoping England lose on Saturday.
