Advice for someone with their first record player ?

    Hi,first ever Record Player arrived yesterday, had wanted one for age's , as very much into my Vintage and Retro :) A few teething problems though, :) firstly the needle appears to kinda get stuck at the end of a song, repeating the last few lines.

    Also the songs sometimes sound a bit 'breathy',elongated,as though something is a little bit wrong ? Is that because the screw in the top right hand corner, just above the record, is too loose? or two tight? and also how do I clean records? a lot of dust on all of them :)

    It's an ITEK (Turntable, Tape and CD Player/Radio). Any advice appreciated, thanks , S :)
